Poster Distribution

Posting to Official Bulletin Boards

Mail Services is responsible for posting and distributing posters for the official University bulletin boards. Please note that this service is only available to UC Berkeley staff for official University bulletin boards.

The requirements and procedures for using this service are outlined below:

Poster Specifications:

  1. Maximum size: 11” x 17” (8.5” x 11” preferred).

  2. Must clearly show University affiliation.

  3. Print the date that the poster can be removed in the lower right-hand corner. This date must be less than one month from the posting date.

  4. The words “OFFICIAL UNIVERSITY POSTER” must be printed at the bottom of each poster.

  5. It is recommended that the poster include the following language: “Persons who wish to request disability-related accommodations, including sign-language interpreters, should call (510) 64X-XXXX (replace the X’s with your phone number). Please request accommodations as early as possible to assure the best possible arrangements.”

Approval Process:

Send or bring one (1) copy of the poster for approval to:

Mail Services, 2000 Carleton St. Room 255, # 2284

or email a pdf of your poster to mail@berkeley.edu

All posters must be approved PRIOR to posting.

Distribution:

Forward the approved copy of the poster, 60 additional copies, and an Interdepartmental Order, attachment below, to the below address. If you are a UC Berkeley affiliate and do not have a UC Berkeley account that we can charge can pay by check.  Due to an additional Administrative Full Costing charge, mandated by the University this amount is slightly more. Posters will be removed approximately 30 days after posting or after the advertised event, whichever is sooner.
